Pricing and how we work

This page gathers the prices that live in different places: starting prices, hourly rates, maintenance and payment. The numbers come from the same settings the estimator uses.

The starting price is the minimum for a fixed-scope project; the actual quote is based on the page and feature list. “Estimate” opens the calculator with that type preselected.

How we work together

Four ways to engage. Pick the one that costs you the least effort.

Our rate formula is public: hours = monthly salary ÷ 160 × a multiplier. The numbers are all in the calculator, so you do not need to ask us first.

New

Solo company plan

Your technical department, on tap

For one-person companies, studios and new brands: NT$8,000 per month including 8 hours of work and cloud setup and management (cloud costs separate), minimum 3 months.

  • Website, LINE and automation from one point of contact
  • 8 hours a month for redesigns, bug fixes or new features
  • Cloud server, domain, certificates and backups bought and managed by us; cloud and domain costs are separate.
  • Extra hours billed at our published rate, quoted before we start

Best when the scope is clear. 30% on signing, 70% before launch.

  • Schedule estimated from scope, with six months of cloud setup and management (cloud costs separate)

  • Changes are billed as extra hours, we do not re-open the whole deal
  • Maintenance available after launch, from NT$15,000 per half year

Weekly retainer

Fixed hours every week

Best when requirements keep growing. From 15–20 hours a week at NT$14,000 per week, invoiced per settlement cycle.

  • No need to specify everything up front, we prioritise together weekly
  • Set hours and weekly fee in the calculator and see the total
  • Stop any time, settled at the end of that week
  • Suits AI automation and LINE bots, which keep evolving

Maintenance

Someone looks after it after launch

Maintenance after launch comes in three tiers, NT$15,000–NT$42,000 per half year, covering cloud server renewal and management, backups, security updates and monthly adjustment hours (cloud costs separate).

  • Security updates for the framework and packages
  • The top tier includes 4 hours of changes a month
  • When something breaks, someone picks up. No hunting for a new dev.

Maintenance plans

The first six months of cloud purchasing and management are included in the development fee; cloud costs are billed separately. After that, renew every six months as needed.

How we calculate

  1. Hourly rate: monthly salary ÷ 160 hours (one month of working time) gives the base rate.
  2. Multiplier: repeat clients × 1.5; new clients, rush jobs and hard problems go up to × 2.4. We don't take work whose implied rate is below base × 1.25.
  3. Hours: each project type has base hours; add-ons and extra pages are added item by item. We show a 0.9–1.25× range.
  4. Payment: project mode takes a 30% deposit and 70% before launch; the retainer settles every period with no large deposit.
  5. Maintenance: we buy the cloud server for you. Managing it for the first six months is included in the development fee and cloud costs are separate; then it renews by tier.
